WILLS AND TPS

Donations help to prepare for a secure and stable future for Tryon Painters and Sculptors.
Your contributions enable the growth in value and the principle to remain intact while using part of the interest and earnings of the donations to support the programs we offer. The following are some ideas that might help you in deciding the way that is best for you:

Charitable Giving:
Donating money or artifacts to any non-profit organization (example: churches and charities).
It makes one feel good and can be a Tax deduction.

TPS as Beneficiary:
An individual wishing TPS to be the Beneficiary can give money; Stock Certificates;
donate Mutual Funds; or any other security.

Legacy:
A Life Insurance Policy can be taken out on the individual (Benefactor) and they can name TPS as the Beneficiary, there is no tax deduction in this case. If TPS purchases a Life Insurance policy on the individual and that person donates money to TPS to pay the premium each year, TPS is named as the Beneficiary and there is a tax deduction for the premium payment.

Charitable Gift Annuity: The ability to donate a highly appreciated asset, i.e., stocks; real estate; and receiving a tax deduction for doing so while receiving an income for life.
