Charitable Giving:

Donating money or artifacts to a non-profit organization such as TPS can be used as a tax deduction.

TPS as Beneficiary:

An individual may designate TPS as a beneficiary of money, stock certificates, mutual funds, or another security.

Your life insurance policy can name TPS as the beneficiary; there is no tax deduction in this case.  Alternately, a person may assist TPS in purchasing a life insurance policy on that individual, with the person donating money each year to pay the premium. Thus TPS is named as the beneficiary and the contributor can take a tax deduction for the premium payment.

Charitable Gift Annuity:

An individual may donate a highly appreciated asset (stocks, real estate) thus receiving a tax deduction for doing so while also receiving an income for life.

If you are interested in supporting TPS or want more information as to the best way to go about it, please contact Grace Lertora, or  Helen Ringus :.

Donations help to secure a stable future for Tryon Painters and Sculptors. Your contributions enable the organization to remain intact while using part of the interest and earnings to support the programs we offer. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit, so all donations are tax-deductible.
