WHO WE ARE
MISSION STATEMENT
-
Tryon Painters and Sculptors is a membership based non-profit visual arts organization founded in 1968 to provide members with opportunities and resources for artistic growth.
-
This is accomplished through gallery exhibitions, a retail sales venue, and educational programs.
-
TPS also seeks to engage the greater Foothills Community in promoting visual art.
Tryon Painters and Sculptors offer classes and workshops in our 2D and 3D studios.
TPS gallery exhibits change every 6 to 8 weeks and feature members' art work as well as an invited guest twice yearly.
The gallery store offers a wide selection of members' artwork.

President's Annual Statement
You belong here!
For nearly 60 years, TPS has promoted art and artists and supported our members in their journey of creating, exhibiting and learning. Our members are the key to our success and the driving force behind our organization. TPS is a warm, welcoming community of artists and patrons.
Members of TPS have the opportunity to show their work in 7 exhibits each year. Whether you are an established artist or someone just starting to make art - we welcome all levels of experience and talent. We host an opening reception for each new show, please join us to see what we are all about.
The TPS Gallery Store is the place to find an ever evolving selection of unique, original art and gifts. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind gift for any occasion, visit the Gallery Store. If you would like to sell your work in the Gallery Store, please contact Roseann Marconi to learn more.
TPS offers a wide variety of classes for members and non-members. We are always looking for new class ideas and instructors.
TPS participates in community activities, we stay open late monthly on 4th Fridays, and we feature artists’ demonstrations in the gallery on 2nd Saturdays. Join us for our monthly Tuesdays at TPS cultural events.
The TPS board is committed to continued improvement for the experience of our members and the broader community. As a non-profit organization, we rely on memberships, sales, fundraising, grants and donations. In addition to your membership, please consider supporting TPS with a generous financial contribution.
Your TPS board welcomes you and we look forward to getting to know you. If you have any questions, or want to know how to get involved, please call the gallery or speak with any of our board members. We welcome your ideas, suggestions and involvement.
All the best,
Greg Wright
