Charitable Giving
Donating money to a non-profit organization such as TPS can be used as a tax deduction.
TPS as Beneficiary
An individual may designate TPS as a beneficiary of money, stock certificates, mutual funds, or another security.
Legacy
Your life insurance policy can name TPS as the beneficiary; there is no tax deduction in this case. Alternately, a person may assist TPS in purchasing a life insurance policy on that individual, with the person donating money each year to pay the premium. Thus, TPS is named as the beneficiary and the contributor can take a tax deduction for the premium payment.
Charitable Gift Annuity
An individual may donate a highly appreciated asset (stocks, real estate) thus receiving a tax deduction for doing so while also receiving an income for life.
