Call for Artists: AdventHealth Polk Winter Healing Arts Exhibit

AdventHealth Polk, Columbus, NC

All artists located throughout Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina are invited to exhibit their work.

This exhibit provides patients, visitors, and staff of AdventHealth Polk with the opportunity to experience the talents of local and regional artists.

WHEN: Artwork drop-off and pick-up will take place on Friday, February 27, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Artists will be required to sign AdventHealth’s liability form at the time of drop-off.

WHERE: AdventHealth Polk Hospital, Columbus, NC. Enter through the Emergency Room entrance and follow the hallway to the Board Room/Library. TPS staff will be available to assist you.

PREPARING YOUR WORK:

• Clearly label each piece with your name, title, medium, sale price or Not For Sale (NFS), and your contact information.

• Submit one or two pieces, with a maximum size of 24” x 30” each.

• All pieces must be either gallery-wrapped or framed with glass or plexiglass.

• All work must be ready to hang with a secure wire only.

• Plan for work to remain on exhibit for approximately six months.

• The hospital does not permit nude artwork.

• 3D work will not be included in this exhibit. Low-relief paper or fabric pieces under glass or plexiglass are acceptable.

SALES:

Each exhibited piece will have an identification tag. Interested buyers will contact the artist directly to arrange purchase and pick-up. Artists are requested to notify TPS when a sale has been arranged so that a replacement piece can be installed, if available.
