TPS member artists set up their easels and painted the stunning scenery on TFAC grounds. Visitors could learn about the art of plein air painting by wandering the campus and chatting with the talented artists prior to a concert by renowned clarinetist, Igor Begelman with pianist, Lisa Won Jung Kiser. These musicians presented a talk and an engaging recital in the Pavilion. This unique collaboration provided for an arts-filled afternoon!

Tryon Painters and Sculptors recently partnered with the Tryon International Film Festival to provide a community interactive painting event. Three canvases were available for visitors to participate in painting. These creative works of art were then available for silent auction bidding. Thank you to our members who staffed the easels and the community for contributing to the painting and bidding process.
