"Jeff Dale, a Tryon Painters and Sculptors board member, shared the inspiration behind this initiative. 'The idea for this event series was my wife’s idea—Lizabeth Jenkins Dale,' he explained. 'We noticed that Tuesday nights in Tryon were pretty sleepy, and we wanted to create opportunities for people to come through the gallery door. Since we aren’t open on Tuesdays, we thought hosting these varied events could engage the community—whether it’s an artist talking about their work, a musician performing, or a lecture guest.'"
