Welcome Ann Stimm, new Executive Director

"Originally from a large suburb of Buffalo, NY, this is my second time living in the Thermal Belt area. I am thrilled to be involved in the thriving Arts community and downtown atmosphere in Tryon. I look forward to providing strategical and operational oversight of the staff, programs, finances, and mission of Tryon Painters and Sculptors.

"As Executive Director, I plan to utilize my many clerical and customer service skills gained from working in the retail, advertising, medical, school and government settings. My non-profit experience includes five years on the former Tuesday School Board, and three years as Co-Chairperson.

"I am excited to promote the TPS mission to provide space for Art appreciation through exhibits, Art education through classes and workshops and creating partnerships within the membership and community."
